Public beta. Qlykr is being tested in public. Nothing is sold yet: no payment is taken, and the 4K download is free during the beta. Nothing here is final: features, limits and these texts can change at any time, and a video is not guaranteed.

The service

Qlykr builds a short video from the public content of a website: a launch video in 16:9 or an ad in 9:16. It is offered by the person named in the imprint. The service is for businesses only, not for consumers.

How a video is made

You enter the domain of a website and your email address. You may add your own script and photos. An automated system then reads the public pages of the website (text, logos, fonts and images) and builds the video. The system uses an AI agent (Claude by Anthropic, used through its API) that runs on our own computer in Germany. You can follow the progress, with preview frames, on a status page. Anyone who has the link to that page can open it, so keep the link private.

Each video is checked by an automated checker before it is shown to you. No person reviews every video. Videos made by an AI system can contain errors, so please check the video before you use it. We may decline or stop a request.

Free preview

The preview is free. It is shown in 720p with a watermark. Previews are limited: there is a daily limit for the whole service, one preview per website and at most two per email address. There is no claim to a preview, to a delivery time or to a particular result.

4K download during the beta

Next to the preview there is a button "Download 4K, €49". During the beta nothing is charged. When you press it, a payment form from Stripe opens in test mode. Card details you type into it go directly to Stripe and never reach us, and no payment is made. We use this step to test whether people would pay for the video. We only record that the step was opened, started or completed. After that we unlock the 4K download free of charge and tell you so on the page. No contract for payment is made, and no price is owed.

Rounds of changes

After the preview you can order a round of changes (shown price, up to three rounds per video). You describe in text what should change, and the video is built again. During the beta no payment is taken for it. There is no claim that every wish can be met.

Price

During the beta Qlykr is free. A paid offer may follow later. If it does, the price and terms will be shown before you order, and a payment is made only with a separate order. No VAT is shown (small business, § 19 UStG).

Your confirmation

Before you send a request you confirm: "I own this website or may use its brand, and I accept the Terms and Privacy Policy." With this you also confirm that you hold the rights to the logo, brand, text, images and fonts of the website, to the script and to the photos you add, that the people shown in your photos agree to their use, and that you act as a business. If a third party raises claims against us because this confirmation was not true, you hold us harmless, including reasonable costs of legal defence.

Rights in the video

Your brand and your content remain yours. You may use the delivered video freely for your business, without limit in time or place, including in paid advertising. We keep the rights in our methods, templates and tools. We show a video as a reference only if you have agreed to it.

No resale

The right to use a video is for your own business only. Without our prior written consent you may not sell, license or pass on videos made by Qlykr, or parts of them, to third parties, offer them as your own product or service (for example as an agency or video producer working for clients), or use them to copy or rebuild our service. This also applies to previews, templates, animations and sound made by Qlykr.

If you break this rule, we may end your right to use the video, block your access and take legal action against you, in particular for an injunction, information about the use, and damages, including reasonable costs of legal action. Other claims remain unaffected.

Voice and music

If a video has a voiceover, the voice is AI-generated. Music and sound effects are synthesised by us.

Not allowed

Requests for websites you have no rights to, unlawful content, and attempts to get around the limits, to overload or to probe the service. We may block requests and delete videos.

Liability

The beta is provided as it is and free of charge. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are liable only for the breach of essential duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service.

Law

German law applies. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is our place of business.
